Automation of Libra Weighing System- SIMULATION IN SCADA

automation of the rock phosphate powder weighing system, named LIBRA in the Phosphoric Acid Plant of FACT CD using PLC. Phosphoric acid is manufactured by the chemical reaction of sulphuric acid and rock phosphate in a multi compartment attack tank. The rock phosphate is ground in a Ball mill to the required size and is stored in two Product Bins. The ground  rock is then weighed and charged to the attack tank at a specific proportion in a specific time interval  using LIBRA weigh scale and screw conveyer. The time interval and proportion are of atmost importance, to ensure which a LIBRA weighing system is used.
